My neighbor and I started a no-carb, exercise-every-day routine and we got these (at a GREAT price) and we have more energy and we go to Prime for free step aerobics (Jenny Ford and she is awesome!) and you wonder, "How do you up the step?" Well, it's right underneath. It's a sturdy step, (I'm 200, my neighbor is 220...) and we just finished the basic and are now on to intermediate and the riser is just underneath the step so you just pull it out of underneath and clip it to the sides and be on your way to feeling and looking better and more comfortable!! I can't wait for the summer! I definitely recommend this product as opposed to high-dollar steps you see in the gyms. For home use, GET THIS ONE. :) and Jenny Ford!

I have to confess that I didn't buy this step as a fitness tool, but to use as a step. My bed is very high and I have bursitis in my hips, so hiking my leg up to get into bed can sometimes be painful. I chose this step to help me get into bed easier. I also wanted something lightweight that I could tuck under the bed when necessary.
It's okay. It's not as sturdy as I would have expected from a fitness tool designed to withstand thousands of steps, sometimes hard steps due to the fitness routine. It seems like some shortcuts were made in construction. There are other steps that are slightly larger that offer more foot room. My biggest problem is with the feet. One side doesn't fit properly and comes off when I pick it up. I tried switching to the other side with the same result. The plastic seems slightly warped.
As a step to get into bed, it's perfect. As a fitness tool, I would probably choose another option. Therefore, my rating is just 3 stars for 'it's okay'.

I wanted a step-up to have in my house to use while watching TV and I love this one. It's wider than I realized and I feel super secure stepping on and off it. I use it on carpet, so I can't attest to other surfaces. I also really like that I can switch between the higher and lower platforms by removing the feet. They do really get stuck in there, I had to work up a sweat to get the feet off initially! Haha.
Anyway, I weigh about 180lb and it supports me without any issue at all. Definitely recommend!
