I bought this for my husband and he LOVES it!!! If there was an opportunity for more stars I would rate as such! He used it right away...he put the stake into the ground (it's February in the northeast) and attached the top. It swings easy and is sturdy. So far he has made steaks and hamburgers on it. He just cannot stay away from it! He uses heat resistant gloves to move the grill away from the fire when food is ready. Easy to break down and store. Item arrived quickly and in it's own packaging. No scuffs or damage. Highly recommended!

didn't put food directly on it, we lined it with tin foil and used it to keep food warm.
after it cooled after use i noticed all of the discoloration and paint peeling.
thought it was from the smoke.. took it home to clean.. and nope... its almost as if it is rusting. paint is peeling...
barely got one use out of it.

When the product was received it was HEAVILY used! There was even burnt food still stuck to the grill. Absolutely unacceptable! See photos.

The first one I ordered the black coating on the grill peeled off when cleaning after the first use. I requested a replacement. The second one did the same thing. The black coating on the grill just peeled off while I was scrubbing with a sponge. I don't want to ingest that stuff so I returned both...

Went camping at Sanborn Park - Saratoga CA and we used the Swivel Grill as an extension to the small grill that was permanently fixed over the fire ring. The fixed fire ring was on cement but it was close enough to the edge and we were able to pound the stake in the GROUND/DIRT. Very sturdy not too heavy. OH And we used a Grill Mat over it. 2 grill mats fit perfectly!!! Still whatever mess it had on it cleaned up easily. We were able to cook more food for a family of 13! I RECOMMEND HAVING THIS PORTABLE GRILL ON UR CAMPING LIST!
