Great short term tool

This was a game changer on beginning stages of training my hound mix I rescued at 5 months. He was growing fast and being a hound his nose was to the ground constantly. Once he finds a scent there is no dissuading him. No amount of praise, treats etc that can stop him from sniffing and pulling. Light hand touches, voice corrections, slips leads were useless when he was in the zone. I don't feel comfortable using corrective chains. So I watched videos and put this on with tons of praise and treats. For the first time I could walk my pup on the greenway. We went through obedience training and constantly worked on positive training and reward with walking so it still takes a lot of work. In the right hands this is a great tool

my boyfriend and i were skeptical about this product, our dog was bred for sled racing and has been near impossible to walk on a leash without pulling, the video is from our first day using the halti, it took some getting used to for it being on her face but she did great, we started getting her used to it by rewarding when she smelled it, rewarding when she touched it, using a treat to lure her nose into it, then rewarding when she let us put it on. the product itself is great quality
if you are in between sizes i would recommend sizing up, we ordered the size 1 but the neck strap was too tight, we ordered the size 2 and it's a perfect fit. definitely recommend this product to anyone struggling with pulling :))

My two 50 lbs husky girls (I'm 110) have been ambushed by the little dogs and untrained big dogs in my apartment complex. My girls are really obedient inside of course, pretty good outside till they see a dog. They already had fear issues with other dogs but now they are always on guard ready to attack any dog now. It's been stressful taking one at a time for walks as I live on the 3rd floor. I've tried choke chains, prongs, treats etc. Recently 1 girl has gained more strength and actually dragged me across the grass. Watched countless training videos and decided to try this. It's an incredible the difference. I have FULL control now they can't use her neck to pull from me when they flip out. I barely tug to correct or redirect them and they respond better to following me as I lead them away from the encounter. Yes they don't really like it but it's for the best. I know it's not an overnight fix but my god it's an improvement. I don't look like the girl with outta control dogs who can't handle them anymore. Except only 1 likes treats the other doesn't. So more corrections are needed but they're not playing tug-a-war anymore. Slowly going to get more exposure to parks and public etc. It's definitely worth a shot to live a somewhat normal life.

it took about a day or so for her to stkp trying to take it off, working on some training with it on. it makes all the difference. as someone with a small service dog, they seemed to be looked down on so when she was in more intense training in the beginning and she was struggling with leash manners,(pulling slightly) people would tell me that it was a fake service dog. i recommend it if you have a service dogâ¤ï¸ the dog in the picture is my service dog in training and i was recommended this by a friend and now i'm recommending it to you!

I have a very reactive shepherd and a trainer suggested this product as I struggled to maintain control with a harness. I opted for this one as it connects to her collar and I worried about her "backing out" of the other head harnesses. I have been using this for several months and love it. Much easier to control her with this. It took a bit of getting used to for her, but now we have no problems.
