Thank you
Great calendar- healthy style

Nice alternative to the chocolate filled calendars. There are little Lego surprises each day which then build to an entire scene. Kids loved this and it added to the overall Lego collection. Like with all Lego sets, there were some extra pieces. It is more of a 1 time calendar, don't plan on reusing it annually. The price on these has ridden steadily and now is about what a decent set of Legos costs. I would get a set of Legos instead for value.
Our annual tradition

Even though our family is a year behind in our Lego Advent calendar selection, I feel I need to agree with the other reviewers of the Lego Advent calendars: the quantity of toys included is definitely decreasing each year and the price continues to increase. Also, I'm not sure if anyone else has commented that the models themselves seem less creative and interesting than in years past. (Wow, I'm sounding like a bitter old guy at this point: "Back in my day things were better!") Hopefully, Lego hears enough negative comments about this series, that they might put a little more effort into future installments.
Great fun

I bought this for my 7 year old son who LOVES playing with Legos. Figure it was much better option than the chocolate ones. He loved it. In fact, it was tough to keep him from opening everything all at once. I loved how the windows had the instructions on there on how to put it together. The only complaint I have is that when you open the windows, you can look into the other areas. My son pointed that out. Kept telling me what he was going to open on a certain date. Which to me, ruins the mystery of it. But all in all, it was a huge success and will definitely be doing it again.
Lego Advent Calendar

This advent calendar is a lot of fun. There is a lot of variety in the items to build and some of the different days are the same item put together to have one large item. It wasn't as Christmas themed as I originally figured it would be, but had remembered it is a Lego City calendar which is how it sounds. This particular calendar had a couple of "convict" mini figs and a cop, and had a small police station and jail. There was also a couple of snow mobiles and police car to build. It did include a Christmas tree and presents to try and keep the holiday theme.

There are a lot of small pieces to keep in mind for anyone with young children. Each day has about one extra Lego piece for the small parts of the item to build.

It was tough waiting each day to have to open each one up to see what was inside to build. Would recommend this to anyone with children or adults to love Lego's, like myself. Will definitely be purchasing these calendars from now on every year.
