This review is late in arriving but thankfully, not the Hawaiian Host! Back in the 60's I lived on Oahu and before I left a dear friend gave me a parting gift of a big box of Hawiian Host, milk chocolate covered macadamia nuts. SO delicious and when I saw that Amazon had a vendor that sold them I zeroed right in on them. I was delighted to see that they had these in DARK chocolate as well and when the package arrived I was transported back in time. The chocolate smooth and rich in taste and the crunch of the whole macadamia made my mouth so very happy. Give Hawiian Host a try and your mouth will thank you!
The chocolate was old -had a whitish color ( like it had been frozen); and the macadamias were old.

Although these candies are rather pricey, they represent the finest macadamia nuts produced in Hawai'i, covered in a superb dark chocolate. I saved up my pennies and treated several close friends with one box each on a recent trip, and my friends were blown away by the flavor!

I chose to purchase more chocolate covered macadamia nuts from the seller Buy with Aloha because one box was to be a gift, and I wanted to make sure they arrived in great shape. And they did! Boxes were triple wrapped and the last wrap was labeled perishable open immediately. I felt like the seller really outdid itself on the wrapping. Nuts were just as I remembered them-delicious!
