The soap dish isn't made very well. The cuts are very jagged. The entire dish isn't nicely polished like the description states. Mine has a large chip out of the base that they tried to repair with a big glob of glue. The coupon for 20% off was checked, but was not applied in checkout like promised. Paid full price for a repaired item.

I like the simplicity of this dish, the fact that it is made of 2 parts that can be separated for easy rinsing, the efficiency with which it holds water without making the sink surface wet, its weight which prevents it from being knocked over, the discreet design, and that it is environmentally friendly. I never thought there could be so much to be noticed in a soap dish!

Wow is all I can say. This soap dish is heavy, solid, and very well built. I like that it's a two piece system allowing for thorough cleaning. I am very confident that this will last a very long time and is durable when dropped. I dropped it upon opening the package on my tiled bathroom floor and not even a dent. Highly recommend this particular make and model.

Its a lovely piece of stone, but there is not much reason for two pieces. I would expect the insert "grid" be cut small enough to leave an all around groove for soap/water displacement - but it is not. It fits tightly into the bottom tray, thus not allowing any place for residual water/soap to drain off. Bottom of soap bar is always soggy... but it looks nice on my natural stone counter-top!
