I love my Snappis
Ezri Shanks•January 16, 2018
I love my Snappis! They're so much simpler than any of the other diaper closure devices I've tried, and my mom who used cloth 30+ years ago constantly wish they had been around then. They're sharp, so be careful not to catch your finger in a sleep-deprived state, but we've been using them for over a year without any issue. Love the colors on this set, they're cute and vibrant and easy to find, and they're really durable (even after accidental washing and drying).
I LOVE THEM. They work great
I love my dog.•December 3, 2017
I have just begun doing daycare for our new granddaughter and decided I wanted to use old fashioned diapers. I bought the prefolded diapers, plastic pants, and diaper pins. I could not keep the diaper snug enough using the diaper pins and was extra worried about a pin coming loose and sticking the baby. I had seen the snappi fasteners before but I just didn't get how they worked. I researched them again and bought these. I LOVE THEM. They work great. They tighten the diaper so it is more form fitting around the baby. They stay on. I will never use anything else. Great little invention.
A Cloth Diapering Must Have
B. Lowe•October 9, 2017
We use these in conjunction with the prefold diapers we use on our baby"”we use the newspaper fold which works for our kid's needs. She is now a toddler, so we've upgraded to the "Toddler size" snappis (size 2), but these were a staple for more than 12 months of Cloth Diapering, and the toddler sized ones are now in our arsenal.
Super easy to use, and you may only think you need 2 or 3, but 5 is actually perfect for our needs"”we keep one in the diaper bag, two in rotation, and two as backups in case of breakage.
Note that while we did use them for longer than 6 months (the package says to replace after 6 months of use), and I would say that they do need to be replaced eventually, but I did not keep a calendar of when our snappis finally snapped. We noticed that they all had some sort of structural failure some arbitrary time after the 6 month mark, but because we rotated ours instead of going hard on one at a time, they all broke around the same time.

Clever! What an improvement over safety pins!

My granddaughter and her baby are visiting from Germany, where more Mommy's op for cloth diapers than in US. First time I had seen this clever, and much safer, substitute for the old fashioned safety pins that I used for my children. Much faster and more efficient to attach and detach at change time. Since they are made of silicone, they are amazingly durable and totally cleanable. There are other types of non pin fasteners, but these are the easiest to apply. Highly recommend this design!
So far so good!

I have been using the snappi for a week now. I went from pocket diapers to flats and am using flour sack towels. The snappi grips really well and has nice stretch to keep the diaper on. My 8 week old is a very heavy wetter and even when the FST is completely saturated, it still grips. I love how it's flat so when my son is doing tummy time it doesn't add to his already bulky front diaper. They also have little tabs over the grip claw so you don't hurt your fingers when placing them on the diaper. I've heard of these breaking after a time and I honestly don't see that happening unless I'm strectching them more than is necessary. I also believe these will still fit well when he gets bigger so the one size is a plus. The only thing I would say would be nice is if they could come in bright colors. Obviously this is a personal preference from a mom of three little ones that can be scatterbrained and misplace a snappi as soon I set it down, kind of thing. ;-) There isn't any garauntee I would be able to find it even if it had a beeper on it though.
