I'm not sure why the men's socks were more expensive so I bought a larger size in the ladies socks. Saved money and fit well. These are black socks, except for the sizing I'm not sure why the difference in price for socks labeled mens.

All I can say is Wow!! These socks are super comfy and good quality. I am size 8-8.5 women's shoe size and wear them with my running shoes and to sleep in. The cotton is breathable. The ankle cuff comes up slightly higher than I thought it would fromt he online picture.

Good value. However, the elastic around the top is very tight. After wearing for a few hours this can be irritating. I have average ankle size. This could be a problem for some. I took my scissors and cut the elastic and now can wear them all day.
