I love me some high end makeup. But I really really like this, and for $5 it lasts forever. It is now May, and I purchased this last November. After having it for awhile I actually pressed it in the container because I got sick of loose powder flying into my face (mix in a few drops of rubbing alcohol, place paper towel on top, used a regular drinking glass that just so happened to fit perfectly inside the container to press). Loose powder always does this so I can't be mad at it, and it pressed nicely. Like the other reviews it does have a tinge of pink. I'm more on the yellow side, but mostly neutral, so it works but if you are very yellow it might not work, and would likely be very ashy on darker skin and/or warm undertones. I have very dry skin (I never get oily, but I do have dry patches). It works well with my dryness, doesn't make things look cakey or stick weirdly if I have texture or dry issues going on. It's not the best I've ever used but considering the price point I give it exactly 4.263455 stars. You heard me.

Please dont ever discontinue this powder! This is the absolute best powder on the market! I have been using it for years! The naturally beige color is my favorite! Absolute best powder! A+++++

I give this 4 stars because while I really do think it's a great setting powder for such an affordable price, I hate losing any bit of good product due to packaging- in this case the sifter is overly generous when dispersing product, meaning it can all spill out if you aren't careful. I poured a bit too much out when using it for the first time, and im still trying to use that up so it doesn't spill every time I open or close it.
I used to look down at this brand and would never try it, but im really glad I found this powder when I needed a really cheap option.
--'Quality? Easily as good as or better than other drugstore brands. Its perfect for baking, but im pale and on anyone tan or with deep skin, Translucent might leave a white cast if not used very sparingly.
Best way to use this powder;
Roll onto face with powder puff, pushing into skin.
Kicking the excess powder off with large powder brush.
Finish your makeup however you like, and Enjoy.
Im sure there are high end brands that would blow this out of the water, but as far as drugstore, and affordable goes, this is a great loose powder at a fraction of the cost.

I ordered the beige color since the pictures look yellow. It turned out to be more pink but I was willing to try it since I heard great things about it. I wore it all over one night and my makeup look flawless, no lines, no flashback, matte with a little oil on my forehead (normal for me). But since then I've worn it during the day and noticed that it darkened my base and made it look slightly orange. I love the powder itself and will use up this one, but will order the translucent color next time.

I've attached 4 pictures in natural lighting. My trouble spots are the laugh lines around my mouth and a crease right under my right eye. The powder plus setting spray do a good job of smoothing these areas.

I've been looking for a gorgeous LOOSE face powder for the longest. Who knew my find would be this cheap? I opted to go with beige rather than translucent considering the fact I wanted something similar to the Sacha Buttercup or Ben Nye Banana Powder for women with warmer or darker shades. My skin is a light caramel color, closer to brown, and I must say this powder applied beautifully. Very loose and soft, doesn't cake onto your skin or concealer. The packaging is very neat and professional, not to mention aesthetically appealing. It came with instructions printed on a sticky tab which ensures that your powder won't spill anywhere during delivery, so great because loose powders can be messy. Also came with a puff pad, but I apply with a powder brush. Powders such as these are a MUST for oilier skin types though, and this is definitely a gem product. There's quite a bit of the product in the case, so hopefully it lasts for a while. I use this product mostly for baking and setting my makeup before my setting spray. Lightly dusting excess powder off makes for the perfect finish. The only thing I would change is to have the cap screw on, but the product works well in itself.
