I've been using this bulb for over a year now, maybe more. It was an exact replacement for the GE bulb, which cost exponentially more, and it has performed excellently. Not a single problem with the quality or its performance.

Perfect fit for GE hood

This fits my GE monogram hood. Plug in and go. It matches the old bulb exactly so not sure what some of these folks are complaining about.

GE kitchen appliances have a nice look and feel, and when one of the bulbs in the cooktop vent/hood went out, I wanted to replace it maintaining the same look and feel. I was worried about differences in the light color, and even how far the bulb would stick out of the mounting socket. The reason for all of this concern is that there are a bunch of different options for replacing this type of bulb. I went back and forth, looking at the claimed lifetime and so forth and opted to simply buy an exact replacement and not mess with trying to change the base and switch to what could be a lower cost option.

I can report that this bulb is an exact replacement for my factory bulbs and it not only matches in look and size, but in the color of the light. Perhaps I should have replaced both bulbs but I didn't feel the need to replace a perfectly good working bulb that should have many years of service left.

5 stars, while it's hard to say I "Love" a light bulb, it is working exactly as intended and I'm very happy with the results
