This thing saved me so much time and money! If you're converting a summer escapes pool to a different filter setup, I highly recommend this! It fit right into the bottom of the old pump, and I did have to put an adapter on the other side to make my intex salt system hoses fit, because they were a little larger than this, but I already had the fitting I needed (one that came with the salt system) and it all worked great.
Don't hesitate to switch to this!

I received the part just in time to close my pool. It installed within seconds & works perfectly! My hoses fit perfectly. Filter seems to work better because of it.

Looks like a nice adapter, too bad it does not fit our summer escapes filter to connect to the new sand filter. Maybe I can use it somewhere down the line? Who knows....but it did arrive very fast!

Product came within the stated timeframe so that's good. Have to go to the store and buy a new o-ring because the one that came on the adapter was dry and cracked so that's lame! Does it bother me that I now have to make a special trip to the store and buy a 50cent part for a new product? Yeah. Am I caught by the short and curlies? Yeah. Am I gonna piss and moan like an IMpotent jerk? Mos def!! It IS the adapter I have to have, so there's that.
