I thought this would be the answer to placing large unstable large cups in my cars cup holders but it does not work.

I thought this would be the answer to placing large unstable large cups in my cars cup holders but it does not work. It just boosts cups up and they are as unstable as ever. The bottom narrow piece is separated from the larger flared upper part of the holder so the cup you insert sits on top of the small round piece. If the unit was one piece it would solve the convenience store coffee cup stability dilemma.

Depending on your cupholders and drink container, these can cause the drink to tip over.
