Mixes well

In doing some research I have read that goats milk can help with chronic UTIs. I am now using it in my daily smoothie....very tasty. I haven't been able to drink cows milk for quite some time so this was a good find.
Well this taste almost like the baby's milk

Well this taste almost like the baby's milk, really creamy and I was hoping my stomach can handle this one but it didn't. There was a seller at the farmer's market who sell goats milk but it gotten more expensive and then they stopped going to the market. I still have their glass container to give back to them when I buy their milk.
So I was hoping this was as good and works for me but it didn't.
So I am back with raw cows milk and or dry non fat milk from carnation
Use this for making the best yogurt ever!

I love this stuff. It is an indispensable ingredient in my homemade goat milk yogurt. I mix it into fresh goat milk and then make yogurt with the mix. So it means double the protein and calcium but not double the fat. I mean, fat is good, but I don't want 20 grams in my cup of yogurt. ;). It makes the final product totally fabulous -- thicker and silkier and sweeter than yogurt made from goat milk straight out of the box, without the use of thickeners (which are not necessarily bad, just not as much fun).

Personally I think goat milk, and yogurt made from it, don't taste "goaty." But I am probably not the best judge of this, because I happen to like the goaty taste of fresh goat cheese. I will say though, that freshly made yogurt is less goaty than commercially made. FWIW. And anyway all of this that I'm saying here about yogurt making presumably applies to cow's milk too. Haven't tried this method with cow's milk, just cuz I looooove goat milk yogurt.

If you're interested, I use a Euro Cuisine YM80 Yogurt Maker, also purchased through Amazon. Does the job perfectly well.
Wasn't for us

I was very disappointed in this product. I use it as my baby's formula. It doesn't taste sweet like other non fat goat milks we've tried, and this one still made him gassy/constipated just as the whole powdered did. I guess I will be going back to the more expensive one that works for my son
Powdered Goat Milk - Even Lactose Friendly it Seems
Cora B✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 28, 2015
I used this while baking some gluten free bread. I am lactose-intolerant and this didn't seem to cause me any problems or symptoms in particular, regarding the lactose. I've read that this type of dairy is more easily-digested and that is great. Love having this in powdered form - it will last a long time and can be used in a variety of recipes - even ice cream!
