These seem to work better than the oval-shaped cough drops that come in bags and are supposed to be the same. I tried the two types basically side-by-side and these give me better relief than the Halls in bags. The packaging style also makes them easy to drop in a pocket. I have only been able to find this type in random gas station convenience stores. They are not usually in supermarkets or drug stores that seem to prefer to stock the bagged version.
