We purchased these foam tiles along with the Dinosaur tiles from this same brand assuming we would be able to connect both sets together in our boys' playroom. Upon opening we realized the teeth on this set are much smaller and not able to connect with other sets from this brand. There are also pieces inside each vehicle that come out and some are very tiny. [Not suitable for younger children, the package stated Ages 3 and up] I'm finding loose pieces everywhere because they do not stay in place. Overall I give this product 2 stars because my 4 year old enjoys it & the price was good in comparison to other foam tile play mats. I'd recommend the Tadpoles Dino Foam Playmat over this one for its lack of small pieces.

This mat is bright and colorful and matches my son's dinosaur nursery. As others have mentioned, the exact number of colored tiles does not match the picture here. We received four blue tiles, four orange tiles, two green, two blue, two brown. I was prepared for this thanks to the previous reviews and I was able to find a color combination that looked good! (The key was making an X out of the four blue and four orange tiles, then filling in the gaps with alternating sets of two). Overall I really like this mat, and it is certainly great for the price! It's fun that you can mix and match the similar dinosaur shapes and take them out to play with them. It is also a pretty good looking mat. We also have already gotten compliments on it from friends at play dates.
Use caution but nice purchase!

Let me start with we love the mat! The colors are very vibrant and beautiful! I work from home so I bought this to set up in my office to give my 7 month old padding. It does just that and keeps him off of the cool floors. However, he has learned to tear the pieces out of the mat. We did have a chocking episode. My only complain is that some of the pieces were made much to small. Most pieces are to big to fit in to a child's mouth but 8 of the wheels that are on the vehicles' are very small! I wish they would have made them bigger like most of the other vehicle wheels. The choking episode was obviously VERY scary. To prevent it I hot glued all of the small pieces in so that my baby still has the entertainment of tearing it apart and I have the option to easily move it.

- All pieces are larger than 1.5" and not easily swallowed
- Unless a child really roughly chews on the smaller pieces, they aren't easy to bite chunks out of

- Only fits with other Tadpole brand mats due to a slanted notch in the edges
- LOTS and LOTS of little pieces. SO MANY LITTLE PIECES. Highly recommend only using this in a very contained area. The pieces get strewn every where otherwise. A better choice would be the Alphabet+Numbers mat, or the Dinosaurs mat that only has one Dino-shaped cutout.

I bought this "blue and grey" (according to the listing ) mat for my son's blue and grey room. The only problem is it is blue and brown. It even says so on the package.

I can't believe the listing still says the mat is blue and grey. This is honestly impactly my faith in Amazon. In addition to leaving this review, I also contacted them separately about the problem. It's not that I think it looks brown (which it does) , the package said it's BROWN. This is listed in error! It needs to be corrected! I don't understand why people are still being misled. Fix this, Amazon.
