I love this fan! Works great and cools everything down nicely. The only issue I have had with it is the fact that in will not last long near the ocean. I bought two of these 5 months ago, and recently had to order a third one for parts. Amazon was nice enough to send me a new one free of charge and switch out parts. Even though Maxxair claims their fans are water proof, they are not salt proof. It was the computer that turns on the fan that failed. My other fan has not failed and I believe the only reason it still works, is because I use it only to pull air out of my roof. The one that failed was pulling air into my roof. So if you decide to camp near salt water, do not use these fans to pull in the air. Other than that, the fan is great. Hoping Maxxair will come out with a salt proof fan in the future.

Just installed this evening, much better than the OE junk using basically a cordless drill motor that sounds like a jet engine. This fan really moves the air also, it will actually pull the bathroom door shut if it is within a couple inches of the latch.

Awesome Fan, Easy install lots of videos out on YouTube that can help, just remember that you don't want to use acetone or any petroleum distillates on any rubber roof TPO or EPDM, this is a good way to ruin your roof. This is such a nice upgrade the fan is virtually silent on lower speeds, rocks some serious air on higher speeds, blows in or out, and if you activate the thermostat mode it turns on at 78 deg and will ramp speeds to try and maintain this temperature. This is great for storage with a power feed as the fan cycles off at night and ramps up as the temperature rises in the day. Paired this off with a Maxxair II cover, which is substantially cheaper than the recommended fanmate cover. You do have to use the L brackets and drill into the side of the housing with the Maxxair cover but for $50 in savings well worth it. I am sure that Fantastic Fans are nice but this is a quality unit, with a great motor, fan blade and housing, at a much lower price. I also love the double struts on the hatch, very strong

I am extremely pleased with this over the original unit that came in our coachman trailer. It is more quiet while drawing much more air. It is well thought out and has more features than a fan really needs, but the important stuff is there. It's quiet, it moves much air, and it seems well built. As a note, a breeze alone will cause the blades to spin, which makes me think it has a nice motor.

I have a fellow RV'r that recommended this fan to me. Best upgrade I have made to RV. Eliminates most of the cooking smell. The best feature is that you have a constant breeze with the windows open. Can sleep with my windows open on cooler nights now.
