My advice - DO NOT PURCHASE - used once for five (5) minutes on a finished, smooth, and swept concrete floor in a finished and insulated residential garage. After five minutes it has two small holes, abrasion resistance is zero - white threads parting already. I used it similar to another customer to start a small JD tractor. Next step is to see if I can return it so they can see the poor construction. And, the fact that it has no dirt on it and relatively no exhaust smoke residue will validate the five minutes it was used - the engine coolant temperature did not even reflect a warm engine. Interesting to note that it did not accompany any product package, information, etc. My bottom line is that it's quality and usefulness is not anywhere approaching the $98 it cost to purchase.

When I start my diesel John Deere tractor, there is a significant plume of exhaust which subsides within a couple minutes as the engine warms up. Now, I slip this hose over the exhaust pipe and direct it out of the garage. Voila, no more smoke in the garage. Of course, the exhaust will blow the hose right off, so you need to secure it - which I do with a bungee cord about a foot away from where it is slipped over the exhaust. I remove the hose after two minutes. This is the perfect hose for the job and the perfect length to keep the exhaust from just blowing back into the garage. Highly recommend!
