Unlike some other reviewers, this shield was a vast improvement over the original that came with the helmet. The original was wavy and far from totally clear. The replacement is optically perfect! When clean, I can't tell just by looking whether the shield is open or closed. Would definitely recommend and buy again if a replacement is needed.
