This little toy helped me have hours of fun with my nephew.
jeremy Ingargiola•November 3, 2017
I'm glad I invested in this toy because it's helpes me develop a better relationship with my nephew. My nephew and me play xbox 360 non stop now to make sure we're developing a great relationshop. My nephew loves me to the moon and back because this great toy gives us hours of fun.
Avoid it!

First off, the one Amazon sent me was clearly used as it was covered in scratches. Next it was missing a protective overlay that goes on your Kinnect. I still gave it a valiant effort, but even with good lighting in my room, it caused all sorts of distortion which caused the games to behave very erratically. This translates to not being able to even control the menu hand cursor as it would jump around the screen. Compared to not using it, it only saved about 2 feet of space. Not worth the trouble. Complete trash and avoid even if it looks like a good deal.
Works!

I'm pleasantly surprised that this works. At least it works on Kinect games that are well-made. Like Kinect Adventures and Nike+. It doesn't work on games that already don't work well, like The Biggest Loser. That was expected though. I am now able to get a workout in a small room where I was able to put a non-slip surface on the floor, at only 4-5 feet from the sensor.
just do it

I was so skeptical about this product working but there was no other option for me. I have about a four foot area to play my zumba dance games on. I mean four feet from my TV stand to my bed. No other option. I just went through a song on my dance game and its never been better! I can see my whole body in the little box of me. I get all 'hot' ratings which means you got the move just right. I've done the same songs for months with my old setup and never got that much success from my kinect without the zoom! The only thing I don't understand is the plastic lens cover. It is poorly designed and I doubt would protect it from anything but for the price of the product who cares? Anyways buy it! I have a three foot TV stand its currently on and I have it pushed as close to the edge as possible. My TV is very small next to it. Won't be returning, will just be recommending (:
Definitely helps in small spaces!

Ok, so it should be noted that the amount of room that I have available should have stopped me from even getting the kinect sensor. As it stands, I have about 4.5-5 feet of floor space before one runs into my couches, well below the recommended level. With the sensor, however, I am able to play all of the kinect games that I have (7 tried so far). The only problem that I face is the occasional re-adjustments that are made and there is some minor distortion that makes very fine tuned games (gunstringer) a little more difficult to play. Please note: as many reviewers have stated, the sensor has to be placed low to the ground in order to detect the floor (as such, don't buy this and expect to be able to use your kinect tv mount). All and all, this does what it's suppose to do and does it well. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't necessarily have the vast amounts of space that kinect requires.
