Cheaply built, but seems to work

I was expecting something much nicer than this. Something like we used in high school chemistry class. This is made of thin metal and isn't very robust. I had to adjust the beam mechanism because it was twisted to the side when I got it and the metal plate that does the magnetic dampening would simply stick to the magnets.
The tare is difficult to use, but I'm getting better with it.
