Nice heavy gauge, good balance and will be nice looking as long as I live!
If this pattern is not your style then look for one you like but stay with Stainless steel I am still using a set I purchased 30 years ago because pieces have gone missing over that time but the ones I have retained look new and are still a joy to use.
You will get the most "bang for the buck" with stainless, especially this gauge.

The weight is light, not as heavy as your grandmother's, but beautiful enough. I may just give to my Goddaughter, and try to find a set with more weight even though I will have to pay more. The tablespoons are a bit smaller then most tablespoons. Everything just a tad bit less [in size and in weight], and not as detailed. But, as I've stated, beautiful enough for the price.

These are even prettier than the photo shows. The weight and balance are good and they are well made. I prefer using these to my Wallace silver since they are easier to clean and look beautiful on the table.

I'm sure I've already rated this. It's exactly what I expected, maybe more. I love my set. I've been trying to replace my pattern for 25 years. My original pattern came from Oneida. But I simply can't afford their prices. Although Wallace is not exactly my MichaelAngelo it's very close. I actually like my Wallace better.
