I LOVE NuGo bars. I eat them daily. I order them at least once a month and eat several different flavors. This time I ordered the peanut butter cup. It arrived fine, but the bar box (not shipping box) appeared to have gotten wet at some point in time. I didn't think much of it, but every bar I have opened so far (3 in total) have been discolored and tastes awful. I am probably going to throw out the box. I will be checking the expiration label after reading some other reviews here.

I gave a rating of 4 because I know these have the potential to be a 5 like when I bought them from Whole Foods. The box that came in the mail was pretty disappointing because even though it came mailed with ice packs and cushioning my bars were squished and the dark chocolate was so old or freezer burnt that it was white! It really didn't taste as good as the ones I had purchased from Whole Foods (which my town doesn't have yet)

It was interesting when these bars arrived. They were in a cooler package ... I was impressed by that even though the cool packs were completely warm so I'm not sure how much good it did to ship this way.
The thing that made my mind up regarding these bars is that the dark chocolate covering was just too waxy for me. My husband really likes them and eats one every day.

Best bar in the market for gluten sensitive people. The taste is delicious, very satisfying with 10 grams of protein and not very caloric (200 cals per bar) - excellent meal substitute or snack when on the run. Another favorite flavor is the Chocolate chip dark chocolate bar.
