Called around to price replacing my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible soft top. Nothing wrong with it, just faded and stained. I just couldn't justify paying $2500. I bought 3 bottles, but only used 2. I followed another reviewer's instructions. Prewashed with Chemical Brothers soft top cleaner. Applied 2 coats diluted. Allowed it to dry overnight. Then a third coat full strength. My top is canvas. The pictures speak for themselves. I'm so impressed!!!

I use this on my old YJ top, and it really does a great job. Here's a secret for you YJ or soft top owners. I also use this on my seat belts as well as my roll bar cushions. Make them look brand new again

I like how the product goes on and really transforms the UV fading back to its blackish color. Not a perfect factory black, but definitely newish looking. I might have to apply again on my next major wash as I may have not worked all the Maguire's convertible top cleaner out of the top at the carwash before I applied. Anyways, I will see how long the current application will last til then. I want to heed a word of caution before initial use. This stuff has a black dye in it like shoe polish basically, but comes in liquid-like paste viscosity, so shake well and point the opening away from you when you open the nozzle because it will splash out the top and ruin your clothes if you care about your clothes. Apply to the applicator in a zig like pattern to the entire length of the applicator, then allow the liquid to soak in before taking the initial pass on the top, then by the second dump on the applicator the product will have saturated itself into the applicator evenly and you can go back over your initial pass to work that back in evenly. Use a shop rag to work it into the areas where the applicator won't go and then fan it out with the applicator to blend it in with the rest of the top. Be sure to just go back over the residual areas without product in the applicator to spread it out evenly. Also, a second application might be necessary if your top is really sun faded. Overall, I highly recommend this product to black vinyl convertible tops.

This stuff is aw-mazing! Iwas skeptical since the smoldering temps in Arizona have surely scorched the canvas on my convertible top. However, after applying it the furst time, the rooftop looked brand spanking new. Then I wondered how it would maintain its look after one car washing. To my amazement, it's still looking new, held onto the canvas well after two good washings. Since my canvas top is 12 years old and originally dingy looking, my friends have asked me if I traded in my car. That's how well this product is. I'll surely be purchasing more as needed in the future. I didnt think of taking a before and after picture, yet I will be sure to update in the future.

I have a 2003 Thunderbird that had never had the hardtop off until I got it. The top had been folded in the well for 18 years. Had some stains in the creases. Looksnew now! I wish I had taken before/after pics. The sponge that cane with the package fell apart halfway through, but overall happy with the purchase.
