I run this from my RV Generator outside my storage space. I bought two and squeezed one end and twisted/screwed it into the other hose. This extended the hose to the length I needed without any other adapter. I then cut the second hose two feet shorter with some Sears Robo Cutters, which was easy and clean.

Don't know what they mean by "flare-lok" because the 11' hose isn't flared on either end that I can see.
