Brilliant design

For every multi buck expensive coffee accessory there is an endorsement or neato graphic that goes along with the product, none of which actually improve the results one gets. The Espro Frothing pitcher is the opposite of that. An understated yet brilliantly designed product that needs to be used in order to be appreciated. Most frothing pitchers require the end user to hit a specific 45 degree angle in order for the milk to circulate properly to both mix micro foam and heat the milk evenly.
The Espro pitcher on the other hand COMPLETELY re-engineers the process. Rather than holding the pitcher at some awkward angle, the Espro can simply be put on it's base to work properly. The Espro is designed with a dimple at the base that directs the flow from center of the pitcher outward where the cleverly rounded base circulates the milk toroidally. For the none engineers out there that merely means the milk circulates in a donut shape. This eliminates cold spots, promotes proper foam creation AND eliminates turbulences where milk can come spouting out of the pitcher creating a mess to clean up (like every other design I've used does.) All this brilliant design for $30. If I were doing it all over again I wouldn't throw my money away on do nothing pretty pitchers, I would buy this pitcher and nothing else. Best pitcher on the market by far.

This is the first time I have found a frothing pitcher that actually helps the home barrista and makes it easy to use
It’s easier to steam milk with it

Specially with home espresso machines! I think it is totally worth to buy it. It makes the steaming process faster and easier

Pros:
The pitcher is nicely shaped and does work for steaming as described-- by pointing the steam wand at the bottom of the pitcher.
Cons:
Kinda pricey understates it, no?
It's really a shortcut that, in the end, though stylish and handsome, is not necessary. Practice makes perfect. Items like this and steaming thermometers are aimed at new recruits in the coffee army who become frustrated during boot camp and finally want something that just works. Believe me, I understand, but immerse yourself in videos, online advice, and visit good coffee shops (no, not *$s!). Watch the baristas. Some shops offer classes. While it might seem silly to take a class in "milk chemistry" or such, it's not. You'll gain by watching, listening, and speaking with others trying to master the craft.
If you love the look of this pitcher, and I don't blame you if you do-- it's cool looking, for sure-- buy it. But if it's just that you're not having luck steaming milk with a new machine, keep working. Avoid gimmicks that promise you a no effort shortcut. In the end, you'll be a better barista if you just stick with it, get the advice and instruction you need, and finally (and you will) master producing creamy microfoam.
Cheers, mates.

An unexpected quantum leap

This thing absolutely does what it claims. It is a stunning difference from where I was with foaming milk to where I am now with this. Right from the very first serving, it delivers a micro foam with perfect tension that lasts and lasts, and it was so easy to achieve. I'm able to make the right amount of foam while properly stretching the milk within the target temperature in the right amount of time. The pitcher that comes with the Breville Barista machine should be thrown away. This is gold.
