We used this cargo net to suspend and store lightweight things in our garden shed. We put eyelet hooks along the top line of the shed, hooked the cargo net hooks onto them, and found the net really does stretch an amazing amount while remaining reasonably strong. Our shed is 10' x 10' and the cargo net not only went easily from one side of the shed to the other, it stretched almost down to the ground from where it was attached at about the six foot level. We had to put more hooks on the ceiling to keep it above the level of the mower, potting bench, etc. we keep in the shed. So if you were going to cover a pickup load or something more substantial, this net would easily span the distance and contain a whole lot of bulky cargo.

I bought one of these after a large storage box slipped out from under my tie down strap and blew out of my trailer. I didn't discover the loss until hours later.
This net is like most others. It is made of an elastic rope with hooks around the perimeter for securing loads.
My biggest complaint about these type of nets is, when you store them, the hooks grab everything in sight. Untangling one is a two person job - or one person with a 6-pack and lots of time on their hands.
I keep mine stretched across my 5' X 8' trailer and just unhook what is needed to slip an item onto the trailer. It is a nice fit for that size trailer. I don't know how long it will hold up being continuously exposed to the elements, but at this price, I'll just buy another.
A net of this type is a "must have" if you are hauling light, loose items in your truck bed or trailer.

Bought this to cover a cargo box for my Mazda. The net that came with the box was not intended for tall items such as a bicycle and large totes.
This was perfect as it covered everything with room to spare and the wide grid pattern made wrapping around big items a breeze.
Double-edged sword when it comes to the number of mounting hooks because on one hand it was great to have so many options for securing it BUT untangling the net before use was a bit of a process.

I purchased this to use on a 1500 mile trip to keep items in my trailer from blowing out on the highway. The yellow hooks that come with the net leave a little to be desired, they are strong and I'm not worried about them braking, but they slip off the net fairly easily. I purchased a couple packages of carabiners to use instead, which seem to work that much better. The nets themselves work well for keeping larger items in place, but when stretched the spaces in the net are a bit on the larger side, so if you have small items your worried about, they could easily slip through the net in high wind. Both nets do tangle easily, but I've yet to use a net that doesn't tangle easily. For the price I really can't complain and would definitely give this a 5 star if the hooks were just a tad bit better. I purchased the 72"x96" as well as the 36"x60" and have the same opinion of both nets.
