Good to see if a kid likes playing
IsabellaMay 28, 2017
This was an inexpensive violin I got my daughter when she expressed a (constant) desire to play. It was cheaper than renting a violin for the summer too. Some things I'm "‹not fond of is the strings are not good quality. I took it in before she played it to have it strung and tuned and they flat out said they'd be surprised if the strings lasted a month. So far they have. Also it falls out of tune very easy. Her instructor has to stop her lesson at least once to tune it. But even he agrees it was a "good enough" violin to see if she likes it. Will probably spend a little more for a better one of she's still playing in a year or so. Plus everyone gets a kick out of a pink violin.
Great for beginners but don't expect much.

The strings started to fall apart not long after my daughter received it. She isn't hard on anything. It works for now because she is a beginner but now I have to already buy new strings. The case is pretty nice and the violin is OK I guess for starts.

Plastic pegs don't hold the string to tune.
Cute but not impressed

We could not get it to play for a long time. It took a lot of messing with the bow, tightening it, putting rosin on it. Also the horse hairs came out of the bow very easily. Does not stay in tune very well.
