I'm sorry to say, I cannot review this as a humidor. It was purchased to be a nice looking wooden box to contain my groomsmen gifts. As such, I can review aesthetics and build quality, which are both top-notch. The hidden hinge makes for great presentation, and the look is spot on. It comes packaged very securely, so no worries about bumps and dings in shipment.
I know this doesn't cover what most want from this product, but for my use, these were darn near unbeatable

Absolutely incredible. Firstly, I have no idea *how* the price is so low for this. Is the company going out of business or something? The box is pretty large, looks great, and feels really solid. Everything about it oozes quality. The inside is definitely high-quality cedar; you can smell it. It keeps the cigars just right, and it looks great while doing it. Plus, it came well-packaged and with a nice pamphlet about upkeep. And it has a warranty? I honestly have no idea how all that's possible at this price point. But trust me, that's not a complaint! I bought one for myself and one for a friend for Christmas. Now I just have to fill it with more cigars! :)

I got this on a Amazon warehouse deal at a very good price $15.88. it was probably a return or something and it was supposed to have a scratch or ding on it but I cant tell it. I researched on YouTube how to season a humidor, bought the Boveda packs, and a calibrated digital hygrometer. I am in the cigar smoking business now! I put about 15 sticks in it so far with a 72% Boveda pack and it keeps humidity around 68%. I open it daily to fetch cigars and put cigars in it. don't know what the other folks are doing to their humidors but this one worked fine for a starter set. let me give fair warning to the new would be Cigar Aficionado's like myself. Its a terrible hobby to get into. you will like it way too much!

I chose this as a gift for my Dad for Christmas and did a bit of research about what was needed. For my understanding in the product description the box should have had everything in it minus a numbered humidity gauge and the distilled water you use to season it. Upon reading the slightly confusing instructions, it seemed to need another element to calibrate the hygrometer which did not come with it, but was not described as not coming with it in the instructions or when I was looking at it online. It's a beautiful box, and my Dad really loved it. It's a really perfect size for the casual cigar smoker who just wants to keep a few nice cigars tucked away, and/or stash what he plans to provide when he as company over. It was perfect for my Dad, and once we get the gel needed to calibrate the hygrometer, it will be perfect.

The humidor is fantastic. I seasoned it easily over a few days and am able to store my modest collection of about 20 cigars in it without any trouble. It has a good seal and I am not frequently adding water to it. Basically, it does what it is supposed to do at a really reasonable price. My only gripe is that the hygrometer is a worthless piece of junk because you cannot calibrate it properly in the sense that you are unable to adjust it. The directions specifically say that the hygrometer may or may not have a screw on the back which you can turn to adjust the hygrometer to the appropriate humidty level (mine did not have the screw). However, if it does not have a screw then you are to make a mental note of the proper humidty and then take the difference from what the hygrometer actually displays. You are then supposed to apply that difference to the number it displays when you put it inside your humidor. For real? What a piece of junk! Why not bump the price up $5 and include a hygrometer that you can calibrate properly? I ended up spending a few bucks on a digital hygrometer and tossing the one this came with.
