Works well for ice cream. Releases the bar without breaking it. Wish it had some sort of cover for those of us with limited room in out freezers, hence the 4/5 stars. Would recommend it.

I've used these many times! The bars turn our looking great! I like the idea of these, however, the slot for popsicle stick isn't as snug and so ice cream mixture leaks out unless something (I used orthodontic wax) is used to fill in the gap. I've also tried partially freezing the ice cream mixture in a bowl (stirring every 20 minutes or so) and then spooning it into the molds. Otherwise this is a great product. Easy to remove the bar from the mold, easy to clean.
