My son is an avid hockey lover. I thought this gift would wow him on Christmas morning. It wasn't easy to get the mesh sides put on, and the rest is just cheap pvc piping. Unfortunately, it was only played with once, but the puc is a big winner in the house. It does slide very nicely on carpet. He uses it all the time.
Microscopic Mini Hockey should be the name of this product.

Really?!?!?! I have to give a star??? Wish I could give zero stars for this deceiving product. Picture on Amazon makes it appear larger than it actually is. I thought my boys would be able to actually be in the rink, instead this is so tiny they have to lean over the rails. No point to purchasing this, planning to return mine after the Holidays and look into building an actual rink in the basement.
