Very well made. It's heavy which means a clumsy toddler/child won't easily knock it over while trying to switch it on/off. It also has a "in/out" switch at the base of the bulb (as opposed to one you turn). Again, makes it easy for small and relatively weak hands to operate.

This lamp is so great! The truck is made of resin on a painted wood base - white and bright green stripes. The cargo in the dump truck is sand and looks like the real deal.
The colors are bright and helps carry through the "vehicle" theme in a little boy's bedroom. The shade is a softer grey-blue, edged in yellow and orangy-red stripes, with helicopters and clouds. I was concerned about it all working together with the other brightly colored accessories in the room, but it worked out wonderfully!

I bought this to go in my grandson's room to match all his truck themed decor. It is a darling, well constructed lamp. The only downside is that it was too tall, with the shade to sit in the intended place. But love it anyway.
