These may be fine for s'mores or recipes but as for roasting over a fire they just don't work. They're too big and unwieldy. The picture on the bag is misleading. These are not good for roasting unless you want a mess and to be burned by a hot marshmallow that you can't fit into you mouth. Why make them so big for any reason? The ones I remember best were sold in boxes and had a more solid texture. The Campfire brand was superior back then in the early 60s. now they're now different than any generic brand you can buy in your grocery store. Very disappointing.

These are expensive but awesome! Had to hide the 2nd bag from hubby so we would have some for camping! Hubby is like I have never seen marshmellows thus big. Me either!
