This gown is nothing like the ones I have worn for years. I ordered a M and this was at least a 2X! The material was thin and the arm holes were gigantic. I used to love this nightgown, I am so sad, but I am glad that I can return it for free. I just wish I could find the old Vanity Fair night gowns I have worn for 20+ years. My daughter is sad too. Boo hoo, what am I going to do. Luckily I have 3 in my closet and I will take good care of those , they are 10 years old!

I wish I had seen more reviews that let me know this was a thin sheet and see through material. We got the lilac color for our grandma and way too Sheer to give as a gift. Will be returning. Too bad because the style was nice. Wonder if darker colors aren't as bad...?

Very soft, and cool. I bought it for very warm summer nights. It did the trick and feels good against your skin. The only thing I would change is that it is really loose and not stretchy, so sometimes during the night it can feel restricting, but you kind of learn to move in it and is still fine. Another factor is: attractiveness. My husband was not a fan at first (understandable seeing as it strongly resembles my mother's bedtime attire) but it eventually grew on him. (I think it was the silkiness that finally won him over).
