Have heard good things about this product. Too soon to tell how effective it will be but so far it is fine. Product arrived as scheduled and was packaged very well. Users need to read the instructions for how much to use, as I hear that that is very important.

I found this stuff by Googling "Hydro Rinse," another brand of the same chemical, and found a page explaining that this is the same chemical, but cheaper. Hydro rinse is $65/gallon; this stuff is a fraction of that, even with shipping at $9 per bottle. I've used it; it seems to work. I'd have to be more of a chemist to comment on the product in detail, but again, it seems to do the job, at a huge cost savings.

after repairing the leaks from the brine tank, I applied the resin cleaner and ran 2 cycles...per direction...the water softener was offline for about 1 year due to the leaks in the brine tank...the water quality returns. I will use this resin cleaner for my other house.

it has helped our 20 year old softener somewhat. We live in the country, have well water and the water is super hard.
