Pretty good build quality and for really cheap!

I am actually very impressed with this power supply. I use it on my desk to power up and down my computer monitors, speakers, lighting, etc. It's pretty awesome and incredibly cheap for the quality of build. I was worried that because it was much cheaper than any of the alternatives that I could find it would be obviously lacking in build quality. I am happy that I was wrong. It's great.

This was exactly what it had said it was, which was exactly what I needed PLUS the addition of the USB charging port has proven to be more handy than I could have expected, having it there hasn't been without benefit. AND it looks pretty freaking cool with it's blue lights on the switches in the setup I have, far less obnoxious than the previous older unit it had had with it's bright obnoxiously bright amber/reddish switches circa 1980 something.

I was originally very pleased with it when I got it. It has a nice sturdy case and the switches flip easily. I soon realized that the switches flip too easily. There is a high risk of accidentally turning things on and off with an extremely light bump. Also, after flipping one switch less than 10 times, it got stuck in a weird way that kept it stuck in the on position. If I push it off, a spring inside seems to flip it back on when I let go. After jiggling a bit, I got it working properly again, but that should never happen.
Was Awesome, now not so much...

Works great, and the usb socket on the front is perfect for my LED gooseneck lite from Middle Atlantic.
EDIT Reduced to 3 stars from 5: After a few months three of the blue lights in the switches have burned out - just as other reviewers had reported. The switches still work so the unit is functional, but don't think you are going to avoid the issue as it appears they are using cheap lights. You have been warned...

Feet were easy to remove. It fits in the rack ok. I didn't like that the rack ears weren't attached already. They were easy to install though. On day 2 one of the LED's has already burnt out. It was on a switch that isn't even populated. I tested them all out on day 1 so I know it was working. Buy right or buy twice I guess. It is providing power as advertised but I'm not so sure about the quality of the build. I won't be leaving the house with any of the switches on.
