Great tunes!

The music was one of the characters in the movie "Drive". Like the characters, it was in many scenes, softly riding in the background until needing to be heard, setting the tone and fading softly into the background again. This soundtrack is catchy and fun in the same way you feel about a song you are about to really like but are just hearing for the first time. It grabs your attention with track one, reels you in with the second and pampers you with the next few. Then, it softly fades into the background with the instrumental tracks, waiting for it's turn to enter the scene again.

Good album, the first few tracks are the best. The rest of the album is just kinda background noise, nothing memorable. If I could I would give the album overall 3.5 / 5 stars. However it's my fault for not doing enough research and adequately sampling all of the tracks before purchasing. If I could do it again I would prefer to buy the first few tracks as individual mp3s. However this does not even appear to be an option at the moment, as you can only buy the 'background noise' majority of the album as mp3s. The first few tracks are only available if you purchase the album in it's entirety. That's a shame.

The soundtrack for the 2011 neo-noir drama film Drive is just as engaging and tense as the feature itself. From beginning to end, it is one hell of a ride and excellent driving music.

As soon as the movie finished, I had to get this. I won't lie, It won me over with the opening credits.

Played it on the way to work today & it's perfect.

This cd is exactly what I wanted. I mostly got it for Cliff Martinez' work but it even convinced me to buy the Chromatics & Kavinsky cd's too!!!

lucky for me Amazon has those too!!
