Worked very well for my face off player who has some knee issues and who was complaining of what sounded like tendinitis or repetitive stress/rubbing in one knee as well but only when taking face offs. He wears a brace on the other knee after surgery and then a meniscus injury and wanted to put a similar brace on this knee but gave this a try first when I asked him to. It worked and it worked well for him. I was a little concerned it might slip or be a problem while playing but it wasn't, it stayed up without having to be adjusted constantly and didn't distract him at all while out on the field. Would work well to protect a bruise from kneeling pressure as well.

These were for my husband to wear during his softball games as he was looking for some extra protection, since he has already under gone two knee replacements. He has had these padded knee sleeves for over a month and he plays softball twice a week, which is enough time to know how well these work for him.

We used the size chart and the fit was perfect, and although they were very comfortable and offered some support, they are not strong enough to deliver any "˜impact' protection.

Although the "˜hex' shape padding looks like a stronger "˜high tech' fortification for his knees, they are not any sturdier than the average knee pad. While these pads help to cushion a fall, he needs something stronger. Perhaps a knee pad that incorporates a plastic cap will protect his knees from a powerfully hard and direct hit of a large hardball that is speeding toward his knees.

I tried to use these as a cushion for retail work. it felt like it was ripping the hairs out of my leg every time I got to one knee. the Hexpads do absolutely nothing. I fail to see how this product does anything better than just having nothing around your knees.

I love this product. I use this for my workouts since sometimes I will have to do push ups on my knees or other work outs. The only thing that is unfortunate is that the material is slippery. So when I work out at the gym the ground is slippery already and with these, you slip and it is hard to stay in place. But they have worked for me great other than that. I been in a dancing program and my knees began to bruise because of it and these helped relieve so much pain and made my life easier.

I use these for work. Wanted some that were comfortable to walk around in and wear under pants. Tried others with more padding and they didn't work as well. Last about 6 months, I do wear them 5 days a week and pretty hard on them. They do fit tight, recommended to go up in size.
