I'm 5-10", 165 lbs, 41" chest, 34" waist, athletic build. I decided to get a large because I thought the medium would not fit my chest.
What I can say about the large for my dimensions: the sleeves are 4" too long for me (they go to my knuckles when my arms are touching my waist), the chest fits just right, the jacket's waist is too big for me(you can't tighten the waistline but only expand it by a couple of inches).
Features of the jacket: 4 front pockets (the 2 chest ones aren't deep), zippers at the wrist, elbow and lat area, 2 inside pockets for a conceal carry (pockets have elastic bands for gun and magazine), a removable linen inside(make sure you are careful with the zipper, very small).
Overall: The jacket has a lot of features ,and with the material its made from, it should last you awhile. Also, you will definitely be getting an arm workout picking this jacket up because it's heavy!

Great Jacket, Sleeves way too long. I am 168 lb 32" waist and wear a medium size dress shirt 15 1/2 with 32-33 Sleeve length. I purchased the Medium size leather jacket and loved the style and it felt great (although heavy) on but the sleeves were uncomfortably long. Coworkers said it looked big on me. I let my son try it on as he is bigger with slightly longer arms than me but the sleeve length was also too long for him. I hated that it did not fit because it looks great and I wanted to love it but I had to return it. The too long sleeves are a deal killer as it presses onto the top of your hands. If you wear the size shirt I do, don't bother ordering this in Medium.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the quality of this for the price. I used some decent mink oil based leather conditioner on it after arrival, and it really made it a little softer and more "worn in" feeling.

I feel like they kind of phoned it in on the liner, but I'm so ecstatic about the zippers and leather being high quality and durable, it's really pretty secondary. I could have someone sew a new liner into this if I have to, and it's not that bad.

So all in all I like it. I have some gripes but I think after it wears in it will be better. The leather is stiff / thick as others have reported so it appears to be a true riding jacket but does not contain pads. I did not notice a strong odor. In my case it smells no more than any other new piece of clothing would. The sizing I feel is spot on to the chart they provide. However the fit for me was a bit off since I am on the small end of medium. The sleeves I feel are a bit too long. I don't like the mesh lining behind the inner jacket but hopefully it will hold up over time. I was hoping to wear it around town as well but probably won't be until its fully broken in.

I am 6' 2" and weigh 210 pounds. I'm have an athletic build. When I read through the reviews a lot of people said to order one size bigger than the sizing chart. I typically wear an extra large and so I went with an XL even though the sizing chart recommended a large. The extra large was too big through the waste and a little wide in the shoulders. I have long arms so the sleeve length was fine. but fit everywhere else. I went ahead and returned the extra large and ordered the large and it fits like a glove. Exactly like the sizing chart recommended. The leather is very thick and the jacket is very heavy. Initially it is stiff but after wearing it a few days it loosens up. I absolutely love the jacket and was happy with the quality. I have had multiple compliments on the jacket. All of the zippers had leather tabs on them that I didn't like but I cut those off for my preference.

If someone is similar size but maybe larger around the waist the extra large might be a better fit for them. Impressed with the quality of jacket and would definitely order again.
