It's for bicycles as well as Marines

I replaced the cheap, general purpose grease on my bicycle wheel bearings with this marine grease. The bike experts on youtube recommended this because it resists washout in creeks and open sewers. My favorite bike expert on youtube uses this to hold freewheel bearings in place while assembling it. I found that this gummed up the freewheel so much the bike was unrideable. I had to disassemble the freewheel to wipe away the grease. I didn't need the grease to hold the bearings in place. Follow youtube advice on OILING the freewheel.
