LOVE IT... MEASURES LED

LOVE! I do have a question if anyone can answer. I have a blue light/red light LED. If it measures 1500 foot candles, is that equivalent to a white LED measuring 1500 light candles? Since plants mostly use blue and red, would a 1500 FC of just blue and red be more powerful than 1500 FC white LED?

This meter is handy, and essential if you are trying to grow plants indoors and want to have the proper light levels. It is much better than guessing. The meter is easy to use.

Bought this to measure the light levels in our house to see what skylights would do. I can't speak to its accuracy, but it was very consistent in taking measurements. Having the sensor separate from the main unit is a big plus - I was able to take readings on the roof and some other tight places yet still read the results easily.
