I was worried that the brush was too expensive, or that mine might not look like the one in the picture, but it wasn't and it did. As in it was worth the cost and that it look shockingly like the picture. It's definitely real wood too, mine has actually since cracked apparently, which is my only complaint.
A preface for people, it's going to shed a bit at first, that's normal. Also, it's going to smell a little bit like oily animal fur for the first minute or 2. I recommend giving it a few washes in your preferred shave soap (or bar soap if you use shave cream, it's just to clean it) and it helps to get rid of the smell perfectly. I use this almost every day, I soften then bristles by letting it sit in warm water and then use it on my shave soap (I use Pre De Provence N. 63 shave soap) it makes a wonderful lather and then I shave with a DE razor (Viking's Blade Chieftain 5 B.C.). I highly recommend this brush.

I haven't owned this brush very long, but I'm very impressed with its performance and quality. If you're in the market for a performance shaving brush, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this brush. If you're used to using a cheap brush, you'll notice a big difference. I highly recommend this brush.

Great quality brush and works well. I went with a large based on the reviews that the others were too small. I would probably prefer a medium, as this large is just that, large.
