I'm sure they are good for other types of work that don't include chemicals

If you work in Sanitation at a plant don't buy these... They didn't last long.. Two months after buying I started to slip by January the tread on both boots was 90% gone not to mention my feet started to get wet. I'm sure the chemicals we have to use to daily may have contributed to all of this but I bought them in October and at the end of January I threw them away. I thought they would be able to handle the chemicals and water but apparently they are not strong enough. I'm sure they are good for other types of work that don't include chemicals.
Good price. Ankles are super narrow

Good price. Ankles are super narrow. Steel toes are good. Rubber is supple but not very tough. I already have a split completely through the rubber just behind the steel toe on one boot.
They’re fine.

They were much bigger than I expected, but usable. I'd order a size down from normal if I were to order again. There was a pin sized hole where the tag was on the upper back of one of the boot which slightly compromises the water proof quality, but I wouldn't walk in water deep enough to reach the hole with these kinds of boots anyway.
The cancer warning is because there's pvc in them. As long as you don't eat the boots or aggressively rub the outside surface on an open wound or something, then you don't have anything to worry about.
The steel toe is definitely there, and it's definitely made of a very hard type of metal.

The steel toe protection actually hurts the toe.

The steel toe reinforcement really hurts the toe after some walking around. May be it's just me but Otherwise well made product. I like the flaired up wide opening to slip in and out your feet comfortably without bothering to adjust the trousers bottoms.
These boots allow us to easily love the rain!

Just moved to the pacific NW and the rainy season has begun. These boots are perfect thus far. Initially ordered for just the rain so I could stay on my daily walks etc., but I also can't wait to go try them on the coast. I ordered 1 size down (I usually wear a 10/10.5 and the 9 fits great with a thick wool sock. It certainly doesn't give you the support of a rugged hiking boot ( I wouldn't wear these on trail), but for walking the beach tide or the puddles of olympia these are choice. I also happen to love the bright yellow since it is my favorite color.
