A great, sturdy, and economical stand.
JonesFebruary 9, 2018
I ordered one of these stands to check out because the reviews were mixed. It is a great, sturdy, and economical clarinet stand. I immediately ordered another one for my second clarinet. I didn't have any trouble figuring out how to use them, and they store inside the clarinet bell when it's disassembled and in its case.
Great value for the money (but include simple assembly instructions)

Clever design - for shipping as well as for use. This is really a 4.5 star review. The only reason not a full 5 is that the package arrived without simple assembly instructions. It took me less than 10 minutes, though (and no tools), to figure out how to convert the compact shipping configuration to the functional configuration. Most importantly, it functions quite well, with three soft pads protecting my clarinet. Great value for the money!
It cut me!

A friend has one of the same design (I don't know if it's the same brand) that is finished nicer. I cut myself on a sharp edge on this the first time I opened it. The legs are metal but are of a very rough casting. For just over $8 its fine for my needs.
Goode product for my Eastman clarinet.

Works great. Fits my horn correctly.
Get what you pay for

You definitely get what you pay for. Although it's nice that it's cheap, it does not hold the clarinet up very well and will fall over if you even slightly bump it. I recommend paying for a stand that is $15-$20 instead, because this one risks damage to your instrument.
