We got this for our 5 year old who loves rockets. Most of the "stomp" rockets are incredibly disappointing. My kid sees "75 feet" on the box and pictures this grand, soaring rocket in the sky, but usually it's a little foam rocket where the poorly glued-on fins fall off 15 feet in the air sending the rocket (and my kid's hopes and dreams) crashing to the ground.
This kit though so far has been like having an H2O based Saturn V in your yard. It shoots up a good 40-50 feet, and the pressure gives it a great launch noise (and spray) that my kid loves. Once it reaches maximum altitude it floats back down to earth with the grace of a disoriented bird.
Seriously though, it's great. My kid can't get enough of it and luckily we have not lost it on the roof yet. The wind can take it so it is best to launch where there's a decent amount of space around you or it could easily get blown onto a rooftop. Highly recommend this one!

Bought two of these and kept all of the grandkids (and their parents) busy having fun for two hours on the first use. We found the best was to fill them below the line - they go just as high but with more water in them, they seem to retain more on the way down and hit the ground harder. I think the instructions say they will go up to 120 feet - the harder you push in the plug the higher they go. I know we had them up over 300 feet and when the wind picked up, they were sailing into the tall trees - we had to keep moving the launching pad. Great fun for the kids!

The kit is pretty simple. It's easy to set up and use. This thing flies over 100 feet in the air. My grand children and the neighbors all loved playing with this. The bottle launches almost out of sight! They had contests to see who could get it to go the highest! It draws a crowd in the park because the kids love to see it go up. Then every one wanted a turn. Just need a source of water, we used a bucket, to put into the bottle.
When you open the kit, it doesn't seem like much, but once you try it you will enjoy the results!

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Great value for money, reusable and surprisingly durable. It's a huge hit in our household - it's somewhat difficult to tell exactly how high it goes, easily over 100 feet. To say that it has exceeded our expectations would be a huge understatement. Best toy ever and with a very slight STEM/educational aspect to it. This would make an excellent birthday present for either a boy or a girl between 10-15 years old.
Better that I expected!

We got this as an Easter present for our girls ages 6 and 8. They really like little experiments and so I thought this would be a fun little gift. I was shocked by how much they liked it! I love that it is reusable. They spent hours shooting it off and laughed the entire time. I was also really impressed with how high it goes. So much higher than I expected. I guess you could say this rocket exceeded my expectations in every way. Go ahead and get one. You won't be disappointed!
