I bought this skeleton to use as reference in my artwork, and just for general artistic study. I could not be happier with my purchase! I was worried that it would be second rate quality, but it has far, far exceeded my expectations. Most of you artists that have his book know how thorough and precise Dr. Paul Richer is. It honestly seems as if these bones were cast from looking at his plates. Yeah, it's that accurate! The box is super sturdy to just be laminated cardboard, and is partitioned off nicely. The muscle insertions seem to be "fairly" accurate when compared to Grey's and Elliott Goldfinger's books. Only one minor complaint is that the fibulas were a little more curved than they should be to my eye. However, they can be gently straitened easily due to the materials this skeleton is made of. Speaking of which, I easily see this skeleton lasting for generations. I am not a professional artist or doctor, let alone an anatomist, but i searched the web forever for a good quality, accurate skeleton. I really don't see getting a better one for this price.
