Consider ordering a size up

I've only used this judogi once and it seems sturdy. I'm just over 6' tall and weigh around 178 pounds. I got the size 4 and it just fits (the sleeves end 2" above my wrists, which barely meets judo regulations as far as sleeve length). This is without washing it, however, so I'll have to air dry it going forward. If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably order one size up. Size aside, this is a solid no-nonsense judo uniform that seems like it'll last a long time. Personally, I didn't like all the labels on it, so I got rid of them. Clearly, however, this is a matter of taste. Bottom-line, this is a good solid judogi.
Update October 3, 2017: I've used this judogi in two classes and no problems so far. This thing's pretty tough. Air-drying is key to avoid shrinkage. Also, if you get the natural white color like I did, you should know that the color fades each time you wash it (and probably with use). After just a few hand washes, my judogi is now noticeably lighter in color.

Excellent Gi

Got this for the boy. Size 00. He's 10 years old, about 4'6"- 4'8" tall, 70-75 lbs (he's lean). For sizing I decided to go more with the listed weight ranges rather than the height ranges, thus, the size 00 rather than size 0. GREAT item. The top is thick/tough. The pants are thinner (as others have noted) but that's normal when it comes to a gi. That being said, the pants do have reinforced knee pads/knee areas, and have a drawstring. The length of the pants is also good, especially considering we went by weight rather than height when choosing size. All in all, for the money, an excellent gi for any youngster starting out in judo. We will be buying the same brand, next size up, in the fall.
Great material and Craftsmanship, don't know how it handles yet.

Great material. My one hesitation when buying a "judo" gi is to see if it is the right material for Judo. Some say they are "Judo" but are not thick enough. That was what I was worried about, but I was delightfully surprised to see that this gi is both thick enough and lightweight. I haven't worn it yet, so I don't know how well it will handle, so I'm only giving it 4 stars for now. I'm 6'2" and 175lb, and I ordered a size 5. When it first arrived, it was huge, way bigger than my size 6 from another company, but after washing it to shrink it (and to get rid of the weird "new gi" smell), it fits a bit smaller than my 6, The sleeves are a little short, but are just right for my taste, and I have very long arms so it is to be expected. The torso part fits a little baggy but slim and tight against my chest, which is good, and the pants are very high quality with extra cloth on the knee, which I did not expect, but was a great surprise.
Upon update, the gi is still holding up very well and it has not torn or frayed almost at all. I would buy it again.

Hard deal to beat for a well constructed product.

Not my first gi, I have ordered this brand in the past. I actually got a compliment on it the first night I wore it to class. Fit is fine.
I have the same brand that is maybe 2 or 3 years old and is holding up fine. I decided to replace the previous gi mostly because of sweat stains than any sort of wear and tear. The old gi held up fine and I see no reason to expect less from this latest one.
The price, delivery time, build quality, and fit, make it a bargain in my humble opinion.

Buy at least 2 sizes bigger and wash and dry.

The price is right! I put that it fit as expected BUT.....my daughter's measurements would have her wearing a size 000 or 00 but her instructor suggested I buy a size 1. Before washing, it was HUGE. I washed it once and dried it and it is only slightly big on her now giving her room to grow and possibly room for it to shrink a bit more if that happens. For perspective, my daughter is 7 and her clothing size is between 7/8 and 10.
