Developing a beautiful patina
Davey Wonder•March 5, 2017
This is in my garden and is extremely beautiful. I've had it out in the weather for about six months and it's starting to develop a lovely patina. The build quality is top notch.
Works great!

My husband has gotten this set up, finally. Seemed like forever to me. I really like it. I ordered two different ones. These remind me of the wind sculptures in the movie Twister. The slightest breeze gets it moving. They are so well made. Others I have tried over the years have fallen apart or fallen over, never to be used again. I will be ordering more from this place next summer.
Great product

We have had this copper wind sculpture for a season now and it has lost its coppery sheen but that is really what I wanted as our yard is unfenced and I don't want to advertise that we have copper out so handy. If ever I wanted to shine it, there is a little trick using salt and vinegar that will get it gleaming again. Performance wise... this is a fine piece of engineering. It will spin at the slightest breeze. The body of the frame is substantial as are the brass retaining caps. You get what you pay for in a positive way with this company.
Truly beautiful artwork; a wonderful addition to any garden

Absolutely gorgeous. Purchased as a gift to go in our front-yard garden, it is exactly what we were looking for (a beautiful, yet subtle addition to our small garden). It was very fast and easy to assemble. I placed the windmill in soft dirt, so I needed to drive the pole fairly deep to ensure stability (be sure to have a rubber mallet or other soft "pounding" device when you install this, as it is pure copper and brass). After driving the main pole deep enough (approximately 12-18") and placing the three provided stakes into the ground, the windmill was very stable. And, for the most important part, it looks amazing, easily spinning with even the most gentle breeze. Highly recommended!
Wonderful and works very well

Wonderful and very well built. We put it together from the box pretty easy took 10 minutes, It started spinning right away with no real wind to speak of. I was amazed how pretty it is and many people have told me they like it a lot. I would buy another one from Stanwood as the quality is top notch. Have a H&P one and it is junk. Like a Ferrari to a Yugo. Love this!
