Good attachment

Decent and sturdy V-Yoke, was worried that it would fit on a 20 year old tripod. Using it for a base when shooting at the ranch... Had looked around and similar tripods where going for BIG MONEY???? Great Budget fix.
worth the 5 bucks

have 2 v yokes they are really neat little piece of equipment. use one with my leki monopod hiking pole, stays on all the time. doesn't impede your hiking situation. I'm able to pull up and shoot a moments notice.I wear a camera chest harness so now don't have to worry in most shooting situations about attaching it to tripod, etc. have canon 80d and used lenses from 24mm up to and including 70-200mm lens with the v. no problems.
adjust pole length to location and shoot, don't know that a bulkier lens like 70-300 would work. would depend on how your able to balance it. not impossible?. 2 found that attaching it to a mini tripod [10inch] with flex legs make nice platform to shoot from car door or window, just adjust to width
mold on to door with flex legs. 3. use a small hand held camera stick from hiking to car shooting etc. just be creative thinker when it comes to using
it. for 5 bucks whats to lose? nicely built for price. remember its only as good as you are.

Disposable Five Buck Rifle Yoke
Amazonian Drone•February 3, 2017
ORIGINAL: The finish quality of this brass mount rubberized plastic yoke would rate B, but it delivers as promised. I used on a Davis & Sanford heavy duty video tripod with an AR and 62gr M855', and got steady true aim. For the price, it seemingly earned its stars.
UPDATE: 300 rounds later, the yoke was beaten to pulp ... literally. As in, the yoke disintegrated. Plastic and recoil apparently don't mix.

Holds rifle steady for more accurate shooting.

Worked great mounted to my monopod during deer season. This yoke allows a steady shot when mounted to a tripod or monopod with 1/4" threads. Works great with an AR style rifle as well as others.
I forgot how small it was it looks tiny when you get it but works fine for rifle or crossbow

Took foreeeeveeer to come, ended up having to make my own for the opening week of archery until this thing finally showed up 2 weeks after I ordered it. I forgot how small it was it looks tiny when you get it but works fine for rifle or crossbow. A great buy, just buy it early. And yes it fits right on a normal camera stand no adapter bs needed.
