So yes, if you have wine or are a wine drinker by all means use that. But my husband & I do not drink and so other than using it in cooking, it would go to waste. Cooking wine lasts so much longer and this has all the delicious flavor that you want for your roasts, sauteed mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, etc.
