WOW, modeling and tweaking to create new, yet realistic sounds
N. Lockhart•August 15, 2015
Awesome selection of amplifiers (mainly Peavey) and loads of options for customization. The amount of options available to fine tune the modeled amplifiers is unreal, and the subtle way these changes affect the overall sound is very interesting. Can literally spend several hours just tweaking the amps to achieve more individual, defined sounds. The effects included are very good, as well as the tools, particularly the strobe tuner. If there is a low point it would have to be the speaker impulse responses included. The included impulse responses aren't bad, their just okay. Strongly suggest looking online, can find several sources for better impulse responses, some completely free.

specific, not for all styles.
Peavey ReValver MK III Amp Modleing Software - I like it!
K.G. Carson Jr.•November 9, 2014
I was pleasantly surprised by the number of features this amp sim has. So many adjustments (amplifier tube voltage adjustments, tube type for each amp section, ...), it was somewhat overwhelming at first. What I liked most was the support of 3rd part VST effects. Not like Amplitube, where you have to purchase additional and expensive amp & effects packages to get more features out of the base package. To get decent sounds out of this product requires a time investment to experiment to dial-in what your looking for. But that is pretty much the case with most of the other amp sims I've also purchased.
If you like a lot of adjustability and flexibility, and for the price compared to buying the real equipment you can't go wrong with this product. Just be prepared to spend a little time to explore and getting use it.

Great tones

Really good tones, especially at this good of a price! Easily dialed in a great "Boogie" tone and made some nice crunchy tracks!
